A fire has destroyed the studio of glassblower Phoebe Masters. And she knows what that means—a visit from the arson investigators. The two men who reduced her heart to cinders. Men she’d hoped never to see again.

One wild weekend with Phoebe overwhelmed Will Bradley and Damon Hunt. Like wankers, they blew it off, burning any chance for a future with the talented beauty. The investigation gets them back in her life, but now they have to prove the three of them were meant to be together. Their strategy?

A body-blazing inferno none of them will ever be able to extinguish.

Phoebe Masters is a glassblower whose studio is gutted by a suspicious fire. She has a past romantic history with arson investigators Will Bradley and Damon Hunt who she meets up with again when they’re assigned to the case.

I really enjoyed the setting of this story… a glassblowing studio in Australia. The author did a great job describing it and the effects of the fire on Phoebe’s studio. I always enjoy a story with characters who have a past and the author filled us in on Phoebe’s relationship with Will and Damon long before we got to know them in this story. They’d had a brief fling and a ménage and the tension mounts because we know the three of them will be together once again, we just don't know when.

I liked the unique career for this character and I think it really matched her personality. She seemed to want independence and to forget about Will and Damon but who could say no to these two gorgeous men? They come across as not only wanting her for the physical part of a relationship but emotional too.

The sex is frequent and very hot which seemed fitting considering the careers of all three characters. Will she give them what they want? Hopefully!

There’s added mystery, too, regarding how the fire got started and who the culprit is which is great. The dialogue is sharp and pacing fast so it’s a speedy read. I liked the ending. I won’t give it away but let’s just say you won’t be disappointed for any of these characters.

If you’re looking to round out the summer with a hot ménage story definitely give this one a try.

It was her sisters’ fault, really. Their idea that Evie use studly coffee slinger Caleb Mahoney for sex to get over her ex. It was supposed to be simple. Spell him into wanting her, get down and dirty with him, release all her pent-up sexual energy, and then do a simple forgetful spell. Easy magic for three sister witches. No biggie. Right?

Wrong. Every time Evie decides to come clean, well…they do it again. And again! It’s not her fault…at least, she’s pretty sure. Something niggles and itches deep in her brain every time she starts to confess.

Is it chemistry or bad magic? Has their simple bang-yourself-happy-again spell gone out of control? Is it amping up automagically? Or is it because the huge, shorn, loveable man—whoda thunk it?—is really good in bed? And the van…and the shower…and the… You get the picture.

"I. Am. Done. With. Men." When Evie's ex-boyfriend ran off with the babysitter from next door, she is ready to turn all men into jackasses... until Caleb Mahoney walks into the coffee shop where Evie and her sisters Annie and Lanie were talking. Then things take on a whole new outlook. How hard can it be and what harm could a little lust spell cause for a powerful witch like Evie?

Okay, so that may be a loaded question. By the end of the first chapter I was rolling in the floor laughing as I watched Evie toy with Caleb, or was Caleb toying with Evie? With a weird itchy thing going on every time she and Caleb came together and her zapping him with lust spells, it made for some high spirited and entertaining reading.

I must say I am not a fan of cold weather and there is no way I would want to bare my backside for a quickie in the back of a cold van with any man, but hey, that is the beauty of an author who has a wild imagination and a great sense of humor. When she added in two crazy sisters and a Taser then I could not stop laughing at the sparks flying. Even though the sex scenes were not super detailed, they still had a certain sweetness to them that made the story worth reading.

The story was a fabulous romantic comedy so I couldn’t help laughing out loud more than once. They say that laughter helps to relieves stress and I think it may be true as I sure felt light and stress free when I was finished with this tale. Definitely unique and humorous, and was worth every arched eyebrow my hubby sent my way while reading.

Brian, a young transplant to Los Angeles, frequents the leather bars where he meets Paul, a big, tattooed, Harley riding leather daddy who introduces Brian to the ways of a sub. Brian is instantly smitten, but then Paul travels out of town on business leaving Brian in the dark about the status of their relationship. Enter Jim, a big nurturing “Momma Bear” who helps Brian deal with his loneliness. Coincidentally, it turns out, Jim is also one of Paul’s roommates and then Jim goes out of town as well, leaving Brian with a key and a request to water Jim’s plants in his absence.

Brian is doing just that when the third roommate, Scott, appears, an overly friendly little baby bear who snuggles up to Brian immediately. Soon Brian and Scott are sharing a ‘friends with bennies’ type relationship.

It all comes to a head when Paul and Jim return home and surprise Scott and Brian in bed together. Now Brian has to make some hard choices.

Can Brian find a place in this unusual household? One that’s just right?

How is one boy supposed to choose between three comfortable beds, and the sexy men that come with them? Brian meets leather daddy Paul late one night at a bar and soon they’re spending a lot of time together. Although he’s never met Paul’s roommates, Brian feels things could be getting serious. That is until Paul has to leave town for a few months with nothing settled between the two. Brian wanders the city hurt until he meets Jim and eventually Scott, Paul’s roommates. One by one they show him what he’s missing until a twist of fate puts all three men plus Brian in the same room. Now if only Brian knew what to do.

Goldilocks and His Three Bears is an adorable romance. It’s one that features multiple partners, which is not always a reader favorite. I would urge those readers to give this one a chance though as it’s pretty mild and a light hearted take on the subject. There are two main relationships that form over the course of the novella, Paul with Brian and Jim with Scott, then the four men come together for a group sex session at the end. While there are multiple partners, the story shows how each man adds something important to the mix. Paul is the Daddy Bear, the commanding one while Jim is the Momma Bear, the nurturing one. There is Scott, the fun loving one and Brian, the baby bear who bounces from the slightest bit of sugar. They come together as a loving family that just happens to love each other in a physical way as well.

One other important element is the mild BDSM portion. Brian and Paul are in a Daddy/boy relationship while Jim and Scott are more about control. It all works well though, and the story shows how and why the men get what they need from the various relationships. The sex depicted and BDSM elements are pretty mild and shouldn’t turn many readers away. In fact the sex feels natural and works well within the framework of the story. It shouldn’t shock or upset even unfamiliar readers. Instead the story feels full of love and joy between the men.

Goldilocks and His Three Bears is a very cute and very sweet romance. It’s got a few elements that may not be to some readers’ liking but it’s done in a very skillful way that engages readers. The great writing, cute men, hot sex scenes, and pure fun of the story make this a very easy novella to recommend. If you haven’t read this, do so now. It’s the perfect light summer read.

Isabella Sebastiani has the best instincts. For defusing bombs. But the moment she spots Lane Hallowell in the piazza in Florence, she knows her instinct for finding an irresistible lover has improved. Yes, she’s to meet Lane for a job interview. Sì, her mind tells her to ignore his tempting good looks and his incomparable charm. But her body tells her to embrace him. And her heart demands she take him home with her. Into her arms. Her bed.

A seasoned security operative, Lane shouldn’t be enthralled by a woman within minutes of meeting her. But the cool, professional explosives expert fascinates him and he’s determined to protect her from harm. As the two of them track a group of terrorists from Florence to Rome and on to Paris, Lane and Bella learn that time doesn’t matter when passion demands a future filled with love.

You won't likely find a more arousing union of two such intense, high voltage personalities than you will in, Until Twilight. An emotional, scorching-hot affair erupts immediately between this pair of Type A, action-oriented people in undeniable consuming passion. The result is an off the charts, compelling and absorbing romance that is both powerfully sexual and tenderly soulful.

The professional relationship between the beautiful, Italian private explosives expert, Isabella and the suave, sexy American security agent, Lane, is equally as effective and magnetic as the personal one. The story begins in Italy, where Lane begins to interview Isabella for a position in the unique private security firm, Nemesis. The interview quickly moves from the outdoor cafe to Bella's bedroom when a fiery carnal need overcomes them both.

Bella is, of course accepted for the position. While involved in a bursting, heated affair, they are interrupted with the reality of their new assignment, which takes them on a non-stop, action filled dangerous adventure involving an international terrorist event. The two are tested to their physical and mental extremes by both their professional roles and their consuming, smoking hot need for one another over the course of their tasks.

I loved this story. Everything about this intriguing, passion-filled thriller is exciting and fulfilling. It transported me into its exotic and lushly defined European setting and mood, while whirling me through an intense, incredibly exciting adventure. The plot in this suspenseful story is as complete and rewarding in its execution as any full-length novel, as is the romance and exquisitely done characterization. The writing here is over the top excellent. The only reason I didn't give this a Best Book rating was that there were a few small editing errors. That was certainly not enough to prevent my enjoyment of this dynamo of a tale.

I don't know how the authors managed to pack so much into a short story. Not a word was wasted. I really fell in love with these characters. Especially Lane. He was the perfect lover in every way. He indulged Bella in the most loving and careful way with an exotic quality that was charming and intimate. At the same time, he was a passionate, strong alpha male who exerted his dominant nature with a gentle and controlled power and raging heat. This quote is an example of the intense passion and lust Lane has for Bella: “A savage need to take her to bed every other hour consumed him and just to look at her was becoming torture.”

This book is entertaining in every way. It is my delight to recommend it and this series to everyone who likes an energetic tale of crime and suspense along with a power-packed, erotic romance. My hats off to Desiree Holt and Cerise Deland. I hope they continue with this promising and addicting series.

Until Twilight is the second in the Nemesis series, and a great stand-alone read.

Caught up in the intense passion the men share, Erin doesn’t know whether to run or get between their hard bodies. She’s convinced her attraction is wrong. However, a little persuasion from both Dalton and Cade convinces her she belongs with and between them.

Erin’s surrender becomes Dalton’s reawakening. A BDSM master, Dalton is in his element commanding his lovers, and soon the threesome fills their nights with mind-blowing pleasure. But when a piece of Dalton’s past resurfaces, it threatens the very foundation he’s built…and could put him back at the bottom.

Hot from the very beginning, this book takes you on a fascinating trip into the world of submission.

Nestled away in Collington Creek, a small town north of Atlanta, Georgia, three people are heading for crash course of self discovery and healing. Along the way, they bring down barriers and heal agonizing wounds. Ragged Edge is filled with heart and soul. You are shown the true beauty and emotional bonding of a D/s relationship.

Dalton Shaw, owner/operator of Iron Cruisers, is a man with a painful past. Sorrow and disappointment has followed Dalton most of his life. Before returning home to Collington Creek, he lived in Atlanta and owned Second Circle, a fetish club. Getting tired of the training and the scene, he leaves his past behind him and settles into a quieter way of life. With his heart guarded and safe, he starts a no commitment relationship with an old friend of his, Cade Roberts. For years they have had a friends-with-benefits relationship, but after seeing the fire in Erin’s eyes and her reaction to their D/s scene, he knows that he has been missing something for years, that she is a submissive.

Cade didn’t know things could possibly get better. After he observed Erin’s reaction to catching him and Dalton together, he has only one thing on his mind, he wants to include the lovely lady in their sexual encounters. Newly elected Sheriff, Cade is a busy man. His days are full of responsibility and duty. He finds his release with his Dom Dalton. For several years, they have had a fulfilling partnership, now he wants more. He has always been a lover of women and he believes he has found the perfect one for him and Dalton.

Erin Corvus moved to town from Texas to get away from the pain of heartache. She started Blackbird Design, her graphic-design company, and began a new life in the quaint town. She has been burned by men in the past and has no plans to get involved romantically with another one. She obviously didn’t plan on two men pursuing her. Intrigued by the promise of amazing encounters with two sizzling men, she can’t pass up the chance of no holds barred sex. She agrees to their offer, but on her terms: sex only.

Incredibly well written, Ragged Edge is about so much more than just BDSM. I enjoyed Ms. Brookes writing style. She seamlessly incorporated the characters' points of view and I actually felt their pain and love along the way. I felt the realism of the interactions between the characters. Their journey to fulfillment was touching and moving. Ms. Brookes wrote an incredible story and I look forward to her other books.

Fleeing Hollywood from damaging and false tabloid reports, Brac Riesling hides out with his friends Kit and Hawk in Cattle Valley. Although he believes he’s simply evading intrusive paparazzi, danger lurks just around the corner.

After years spent as a secret soldier for the United States government, new Cattle Valley deputy, Al Jessup believes shielding the television heartthrob from nosy reporters will be an easy assignment. Becoming infatuated with Brac isn’t part of the plan, and Jessup struggles to remain professional despite the temptation Brac provides.

When Jessup gives in to his desire and Brac nearly pays for the moment of passion with his life, Jessup vows not to make the same mistake twice. He calls in a favour from the only man he trusts with Brac’s life, James “Priest” Evans. Priest agrees to guard Brac at a secret location while Jessup searches for the unknown gunman. Jessup’s resolve to put a halt to the budding relationship with Brac is tested when he witnesses the easy-going relationship Brac and Priest have formed after only a few days.

Shooting Star is another great title in the Cattle Valley series. When scandal strikes the hottest star on Pirate Cove, what better place to avoid reporters and photographers than Cattle Valley? And if you're just lucky to meet the hunky, muscular man of your dreams at the same time, all the better.

Brac is a well-developed character and fits in well with the Cattle Valley series. The character has the right balance of good old country boy and sophisticated actor. Al is a flawed, deeply scarred man with a sense of duty, honor and loyalty that is heartwarming. This book is set in a well-developed world with equally well-developed characters. The story moved along a little too quickly with obstacles a little too easily overcome and it caused a slightly rushed feel to the plot. It would have been nice to see this book play out a little longer. However, the plot was well developed; conflict was believable with some nice foreshadowing for future books.

Overall, the book is another excellent addition to any library with well-developed and loved characters, a solid plotline and hot romance between two amazing guys.

Dr. Jacklyn Chavez has devoted her life to healing, particularly to the shifter community of Woodcliff, CO. When a hurt wolf requires her medical skills she doesn't think much of it, until he transforms. Recognizing the incriminating tattoo on his shoulder, Jacklyn struggles to keep Zan at arm's length even as their animal attraction draws them dangerously closer.

Alexander "Zan" Sutton is a military specialist, riding the edge of addiction to the darkness of his job. When a photo leads him to the last known location of a long searched-for relative, he finds more than his brother - he finds his mate. All his training, stealth, and patience will be pushed to their limits as he woos Jackie, re-engages with his sibling and dodges a past danger that has stalked him for years. And he thought a civilian's life would be boring...

Just when I think there isn’t a fresh take on the predestined mates to be had, an author comes along and proves me wrong. The thing that makes this story stand out from other werewolf paranormals is the fact that even though their sense of smell tells them that the bond is there, by no means is it failsafe. It’s not a guarantee, it’s only a jump off point – the rest is up to the man and woman. They either make it work or they don’t, it’s all up to their personality quirks and foibles. And let me assure readers, the author threw a lot at the hero and heroine making the ride bumpy, exciting and it kept me glued to the pages.

Jackie is quite the intrepid heroine. She’s a doctor and that already makes her character one to respect and take seriously. However, still waters run deep. The author was such a tease! There was this build up of worry, of suspense, of thinking there were horrible things buried in her past. The actual truth had me grinning ear to ear. What a surprise and it certainly made things interesting and complicated for the hero. Not that they weren’t already thorny enough. Jackie is alternately, feminine, competent and aggressive; she even has a wise cracking wit that kept the hero on his toes. I liked how she fought the attraction and I cracked up at her inner dialogue. I also enjoyed the fact that she did what she wanted even though the hero, with his bad alpha attitude, forbade her to do things. Jackie is a class act because I like how she defied him – and yet didn’t do stupid things just to spite him. Everything she did made sense.

Now, Zan is a delicious type of hero. He comes across as an adrenaline junky, commanding and dark. It’s not until he meets the heroine that a reader will see that there is a lot more under the fur than alpha bossiness. Oh, he has it in spades but instead of orchestrating his skills for a tactical offense on a bad guy, he ends up using it to woo and seduce Jackie. And wow, does Zan get lead on a merry chase. I think that was half the fun of the book. Every time he thinks he’s a shoe-in, he messes up and he’s back at square one. He’s also figuring out a few things about himself along the way. Who he really is, and isn’t. What he wants out of life and what he’s willing to do to get it. I think his character makes the most adjustments and growth. I especially enjoyed it when he gets all wolfy and growly. Very sexy and it made for some hot reading.

Speaking of the heat, Ms. Dellerman wrote this book just the way I like it. It wasn’t a story to promote only sex. The sensual buildup and physical explorations of their attraction and lust was sprinkled throughout the story in a perfect balance that I really enjoyed. Every time they had it, there was a build up before, making what happens inevitable yet very potent. I was entertained when he was all rough with Jackie, and though she tried to fight him, she was fighting herself more. Because of that, when they did succumb to their passions, it was explosive and forceful. Nothing tame or timid for these werewolves.

The conflict is both internal and external. I’ve already covered the internal between Jackie and Zan but there is a bad guy and he’s a nasty sort. It overshadows a good portion of the book, driving the hero and heroine to certain actions until the moment it all comes to a head. When the confrontation erupted, there was a lot of action and suspense that kept me flipping the pages. The writing was nice and tight so I could feel the drama and intensity as it unfolded. It’s not particularly gruesome but I was left in no doubt that the good guys can be bad when they need to be.

I have to mention that I noticed some misspellings that made me blink; nothing major and certainly not enough to throw me from the story. However, since a perfect score means perfect editing, I am forced to not give the book as high a mark as I wanted to. I was a bit bummed about that. This book is great in every other aspect.

Secondary characters gave a nice flavor to the book. In fact, Zan’s two soldier buddies made me smile a lot. I liked them and thought they were a good addition. I loved the fact that Zan had a brother and it also alluded to the fact that there is a back story that I was unaware of. The result of which is, I intend to go and find out about Dean because he’s fascinating too. And if there is a book about Dean that means the author did great in making this a standalone read. I never felt anything was left out. This book is all about Zan and Jackie and it was cool.

What This Wolf Wants is sexy, fun and exciting with a wonderful sense of humor to sweeten the ride. I enjoyed getting to know Zan and Jackie and had a great time watching them fall in love. The book never lagged and it always kept my interest. I liked their personalities, their sense of love and contrary courting style and I got the shivers when Zan marked Jackie as his. I love it when they do that. It’s so yummy. If readers are looking for a paranormal romance book that will make time fly and their blood pressure rise in excitement, then What This Wolf Wants is the one to try.

Ed Maurer has bounced back, more or less, from the neck injury that permanently benched his semi-pro football career, but every time he turns around, dance instructor Laurie Parker is in his way. But when a bargain lands him as an assistant in Laurie’s ballroom dancing class, everything changes.

As Laurie and Ed lose themselves in dance, their lives continue to spin around them: Ed’s injury makes it clear he’s nowhere near recovery, Laurie feels the pressure by friends and family to perform once more, and the community center that has become such an important part of both their worlds threatens to close. Alone, they haven’t had the strength or spirit to face what life has hurled at them. But as the turns of their personal paths lead them time and again to one another, Ed and Laurie begin to think that if they dance this dance together, they might be able to succeed.

It’s not always easy to take a second chance. Both Ed and Laurie have experienced crushing defeats. Ed is still reeling from an injury that ended his semi-pro football career and landed him in a hated job behind a desk. Laurie gave up a very successful and high profile dance career after a disastrous competition. When they first meet, the two difficult and stubborn men create sparks of the wrong kind. But they soon realize those sparks could be something else entirely. Yet it’s not always easy to reach for what you want and to try again after being burned.

Dance with Me is a very sweet romance about taking a second chance when it’s offered. Both characters have lost a lot and gone through really tough emotional and physical trials leaving them scarred and stubborn. They’re not the easiest couple and their road to happiness is punctuated by stubborn fits and irrational bouts of anger. Neither man is perfect and, in fact more accurately, both are deeply flawed. It’s the flaws that should appeal to readers in this kind of story. The tension is entirely internal and thus both men spend quite a bit of time in their head analyzing every last detail. Some of this slows the pace of the story considerably and creates a sweet but difficult pairing between the men.

The story is well written, as all of the author’s novels are, and thus fans should particularly enjoy this offering. The characters are definitely not flat or cookie cutter but honest and very real. They’re in some ways almost too real as they fight, struggle, misunderstand, and have all the same fears, jealousies, issues, and irrational fits of stubborn anger that most people do. This makes the story feel more real but also somewhat frustrating. I sometimes wanted the men to be better than they were, not perfect by any means, but not so stubborn and silent. Also the sweet nature of their sex scene lends to the pace and tone of the story but made them somewhat less interesting for me as a reader.

Dance with Me is a well-written story about two men starting over and getting a second chance. The ending is a bit melodramatic and predictable but the story is definitely better than that. The men have angst, drama, love, anger, fear, and finally happiness.

Her rational mind says stay far, far away from the gorgeous cop who doesn’t want anything to do with the supernatural. But after Conner catches up to her and shows her with heated kisses and carnal demands just how perfect they can be together, the wolf part of her nature is convinced he’s the right mate.

Conner wants her trust. She needs his help. But Khemirra doesn’t know which of her secrets Conner will hate more—that she killed a man, or that she’s a werewolf. Unless love overrides all else, they’ll lose any chance of a future together.

Until reading Conner’s Wolf I hadn’t read or made a point of looking for the others in Jory Strong's Supernatural Bonds series, until now that is…

You can bet your bottom dollar that I not only looked for the others after finishing this story, but downloaded them to my Kindle, to enjoy at my leisure.

What’s not to like? This is one fast moving, action packed story, that titillates from the start and got HOT so fast, that it left me breathless and riveted to the unfolding drama, right to the very end. Take gorgeous alpha Homicide Detective, Conner Stern who is using his personal time, when he should be kicking back at his parent's cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains, to track down a woman who has quickly become his obsession. He’s called in every favor ever owed to help him track her down, yet he’s unsure… Confused by whether or not it’s only about his concern for her safety, his need to shield and protect her from harm. Or discovering whatever it is, that has her on the run in the first place and why.

Or whether it’s just lust. More about the undeniable need he has to claim her. To take her in every conceivable way his body and mind has dreamt of, from the very first time he saw her.

Khemirra Reis is the exotic beauty, that her cop is obsessing over…

Not only is she beautiful and intelligent, she’s a reporter and was lucky enough to be granted an interview with a reclusive, multiple times bestselling author.

But life is not all it seems in Khemirras world. She is a werewolf, able to shift into her wolf form within moments, something the reclusive author seeks to prove, as he has his own agenda, the power, influence and the determination to follow through. Regardless of who gets in his way.

Khemirra wants a mate, someone she and her wolf will be happy to be bonded to for life, but the only one who fits the bill so far, is the human cop, Conner Stern.

Together they may have a chance, to not only see their way through the deadly intent of those who mean them harm, but to form something more meaningful and binding between them… If they can get over their own fears and doubts first.

Highly recommended, I loved this story for the wonderfully sensuous and erotic way Ms. Strong wrote it and her brilliance for keeping the plot fresh, alive and dramatic from start to finish!

Emmett Longley just lost his job and home. When he hears of a ranch needing a jack of all trades, he jumps at the chance. What Emmett didn’t expect was to find himself drooling over his new boss. And the man was giving off some weird vibes. Was Kit gay or not?

Christopher ‘Kit’ Younger only looks at men to see if they fit the bill to work his ranch. He doesn’t have time for relationships. He never has, and if he did, they would be with a woman. That was until Emmett Longley drove up to his ranch and applied for the job of foreman. Why was he getting hard over Emmett? There was nothing feminine about Emmett so why did Kit catch himself daydreaming about being in the big man’s arms?

Circumstances throw Emmett and Kit together but it's self-doubt and uncertainty that could ultimately tear them apart.

Emmett is a confident gay man happy in his own skin. When the ranch he is working at goes into foreclosure he has to seek work elsewhere. Overhearing a conversation leads him to the Buckin’ Y and to Kit. The attraction is instant between them but Emmett isn’t sure how to get Kit to admit his true feelings. Emmett’s cool head and determination come in handy when dealing with a confused Kit.

Kit is a genuinely likable character, a hard worker and overall nice guy. He’s never questioned his sexuality until Emmett showed up on his door step. He tried to avoid his new ranch hand but the pull is too great and he succumbed to needs he never knew existed within him. I liked how Kit took a step back and worked through how he felt and didn’t make a hasty decision regarding his life. He knew what he wanted but needed to make sure it was right for him. I definitely respected that about this character.

This is short story that was able to capture the struggles these two men go through to be together. The ups and downs and give and take that happens between Kit and Emmett are what had me clinging to every page until the end. For me there is nothing sexier than two cowboys alone on a range going down the road of self-discovery and love together. If you’re into a little western cowboy loving this is the book for you.

Immediate attraction bursts into flame the moment she meets gorgeous twin alphas Matt and Max, but discovering they’re her mates is horrifying. Hot sex with them is one thing—a future is another. She’s not sure she can trust men in power, much less the sons of the man who sent her into exile.

Matt and Max Vargus are thrilled to find their mate, but the wariness in her eyes confuses them. Resisting the fierce urge to claim her immediately, they seduce her slowly, showing her that she’s found a home, family and men to stand by her side. But danger still stalks Bianca and they’ll have to fight to protect her.

Life couldn’t get much more complicated than the day Bianca came face-to-face with the sons of the former Alphas from her former clan. Having to stand there and possibly go through major rejection again in her life was not high on her priority list. Not with such contenders like an evil Beast coming after her or a couple of psychos looking to score off her freakish abilities. Besides the day she was turned out of the clan was the day she wouldn’t look back if only curiosity of the family that was left behind hadn’t gotten to her.

Now being faced with the new Alphas and possible legacy and belief keepers of their fathers’ work, Bianca’s guard is raised so high she didn’t see what Matt and Max actually were to her. If Matt and Max have anything to say about it though, they’ll make sure she’s fully aware of who they are and what they can provide… a clan, protection, family, and most importantly mates. Old fears are hard to get rid of when there’s so much at stake and trust is not easily earned, but as the three begin working on those concerns, they will first have to do battle against foe and instinct.

This is my first story by Ms. Airies and I thought it was enjoyable. Bianca’s back-story is horrific and I appreciated how Ms. Airies highlights her character’s strength with how Bianca overcame even while she still has hard-earned insecurities. Although Bianca understands the fact that Matt and Max are her “biological mates”, she doesn’t automatically give in to the desire to sleep with them. Instead, she wants to get to know them, the clan, and the remaining members of her family. Dominant alphas Matt and Max take on a more patient approach throughout the story to claiming her as well.

Unfortunately, I struggled through the long expanse of pages without much dialogue and repetitious explanation of the Beast and psychos who are after Bianca. There was also a bit of an imbalance in relation to the story and relationship development. By the end of the story, I didn’t feel as far along with this clan of shifters as I would have expected nor did I feel that Ms. Airies took full advantage of the depth that could have been derived from the plot and world that was created.

However, the chemistry between Bianca, Matt, and Max was most definitely there and Ms. Airies took a slightly different approach to this ménage relationship. As mentioned in the ‘reader advisory’ portion of the synopsis, Ms. Airies allows the reader to engage through Bianca with Matt and Max separately as well as voyeuristically and once all together. Other than appearance, the differences between the twins are not major, so it helps make the picture clearer to have approached them separately throughout the story. I am also very intrigued by the secondary character of Alana and the predicament she's in with a couple of wizards. If there were to be a follow-up to this story, I wouldn’t mind reading more about her as well.

Readers who are hot paranormal romance fans should absolutely read this story for the chance to read more about tiger shifters as well as for the erotic content.

Captured and en route to a medical facility for dissection and study, cyborg Lyon expects nothing but pain and degradation from his captors. But Samara isn’t like the others, treating his wounds with care and igniting a fire deep within. When she neglects to ensure his cuffs are locked tight, all hell breaks loose. A hot, sensual hell against the cell wall.

When his team arrives, Lyon knows he should walk away…but he can’t. His little human has gotten under his skin. He’ll take her as payment for his suffering, keep her in his bed and pleasure them both for as long as it takes for him to lose interest.

What he doesn’t expect is to lose his heart in the process.

Being captured, then scheduled for dissection and death were the least of Lyon’s concerns after meeting nurse, Samara. She fried his circuits in ways he has never experienced. He needs to get her out of his system before he experiences a complete shutdown.

Not quite human or machine, cyborg Lyon is caught between two worlds. He has no sympathy for inferior humans, but he feels likes there is something missing. Samara literally slams into his world. She is a pretty little thing and he is instantly drawn to her. As commander of his cyborg team, Lyon is required to be big, strong and detached at all times. His race is in the fight for their lives, but the only thing on his mind is the sweet nurse that he just has to have.

Samara Williams sure liked what she saw when she looked at the bound prisoner. Cyborgs have a reputation for being merciless killers, but all she saw was sex on legs. She was raised to be non-judgmental and she refused to believe the man before her was anything like the stories she had heard. She would give him a chance and allow his actions to prove to her that he is worthy of her friendship and trust.

From prisoner to captor, Lyon has taken Samara and not because they need medics back at his base. He wants her for himself and he will do anything to keep her. His world comes crashing down when he thinks she has betrayed him. It will take the heart of a human to change the mind of a machine.

I was apprehensive at one point that the story would fall into predictability. After a major confrontation between Lyon and Samara, I was afraid that Samara would wither and bend to Lyon’s intimidation, but she held her own and she persevered. I enjoyed that she didn’t fall back into a quiet timid female persona. She knew she had to be strong and stood up to the rather huge Leo Class cyborg. It was a turning point for me in the story. It was entertaining how she proved herself to Lyon and his crew, making a place for herself in his heart and the whole cyborg community.

I was captivated by this story. I hope Ms. Carter continues writing about these characters. The other crewmembers on Lyon’s team were intriguing and very interesting. I can see promising futures for them and I hope I can come along for the ride. Ms. Carter writes exciting and enthralling science fiction. She had my heart dropping and soaring all within a few pages. She could easily write a full length novel and keep me totally engaged. Sci-fi is an untapped genre for me and Ms. Carter has my piqued my interest and curiosity. In my opinion, the mark of a great author is one that hooks me and pulls me along on an amazing page turning ride, which is what I found with Mina Carter.
